Pricing and Billing
What counts as an active file?
A file is active during a billing period if it has not been fully closed.
When are files billed?
Files are billed for the 1st through 10th, 11th through 20th, and 21st through the end of each month.
What is the maximum monthly cost per file?
A file active during all three billing periods costs $249 for that month.
What happens when a file closes?
Once the file is fully closed, it is not billed during later periods.
Is there a separate software fee?
There is no separate software product or platform fee under the standard active-file model.
Getting Started
Do we need to transition every file?
No. A firm can begin with a defined group of files.
Can we begin with only newly signed cases?
The launch inventory can include newly signed files, existing active files, or a defined combination established during implementation.
How do we get started?
Call (888) 279-2841 or submit the active-inventory form on our contact page.
Services and Workflow
Is demand preparation included?
Yes. CaseScale organizes supporting documentation and assists with the initial demand draft. The responsible attorney reviews, revises, approves, and controls the final demand.
Is CaseScale only a case-management service?
No. CaseScale supports the broader pre-litigation operating process, including client contact, insurance follow-up, treatment monitoring, incoming activity, records and bills, documentation, recurring follow-up, and demand preparation support.
Legal Responsibility
Does CaseScale make legal decisions?
No. Legal strategy, legal judgment, representation, final demand approval, and the attorney-client relationship remain with the law firm.
Can CaseScale help us retain matters we currently refer out?
Potentially. CaseScale can provide operational capacity, but the firm must separately ensure qualified counsel, proper engagement structures, and all professional requirements are in place.
